Quality Assurance
CSISL offers Quality Control and Quality Assurance Services for a Shop Inspection, NDT Verification, Field Inspection and much more.
Shop Inspection
Shop quality assurance consists of verifying certification of materials at points of manufacture (mills and shops) in various locations. Shop inspection tasks include
- Observation of Shop Fabrication Activities
- Shop Quality Control Measurements
- Painting and Shipping Preparation
- Providing Progress Reports
- Reporting of client required problem resolution
The materials to be inspected may include structural steel, bridge railing, sign structures, and other steel items.
Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Verification
NDT quality assurance consists of verifying that testing is performed in accordance with the industry standards required. These tests are to be conducted in accordance with ASTM, AWS, CSA or other applicable specifications and standards.
The verification of NDT results will be properly documented and reported to the Engineer.
Field Inspection
Consists of quality assurance services on a wide variety of components --newly installed, refurbished or repaired.
The work may include quality assurance of erection, welding, bolting, and painting of structural steel. Witnessing of non-destructive testing and welder/welding procedure qualification tests may also be verified.
